Another idea: Write a program that knows the list of files.  Open each
file and read all the records, and pass each one to a sub-procedure for
handling.

Another idea, old school:  Convert the above program in such a way that
it can coded on an 'F' specification as a SPECIAL file.

Lastly, dump the data from all the files into one file.  Then, keys,
select/omit, join, SQL, OPNQRYF all work as intended.  Yeah, it sucks to
have to do so, but a well timed set of CPYF's, or perhaps a well placed
trigger program, and everything works.
