CUTE!!!

I bet these design points are 30-40 years old. No DCR will touch this one. Besides, it's probably coded in PL/MI, and both people in all of IBM who know that language would not want to touch it.

would be easier to read than

(other than the fact that my display converts the plus sign into
alternating left and right facing arrows, if you look close enough)
