OK. But I didn't find anything in V4R5. I think API QTOCNETSTS which answers my
request appeared with V5R1. Anyway I would prefer a simpler way by using only
CL and basic OS/400 commands. If there is no, I will wait until we install a
most recent OS version to write a RPG program however.

Thanks.

Have you looked at the Infocenter? Namely the part that says Programming.
And then underneath that, APIs? Try that. If you have any further
questions, come on back.

Subject
Get TCP/IP informations

Hi all,

I would like to write a CL that extracts in batch some TCP/IP informations
such as local IP address, IP mask, gateway, MAC address and speed. MAC
address and speed can be found by using DSPLIND. But I didn't find any
command to extract the other values. WRKTCPSTS works but I can't use it in
batch (isn't it ?). Is there an API to do that ? Is there a file where
these informations are stored ?

Thanks.
Best Regards.
