Why make this so hard on yourself? If the special instructions say "If this PTF is applied or removed as a "Delayed" PTF, which requires an IPL, no special consideration is necessary" then just put it on delayed. This will save you lots of time trying to figure out if a module with an applied PTF has had it "activated." I know that there are people out there who can "never" IPL, but for most of us regular IPL's should not be an issue. I believe Al Barsa told me that he IPL's his system every night. (Correct me if I'm wrong, Al.) Meanwhile, note that SI09498 has been superceded 7 times, most recently by SI15853. If you need to apply this PTF I highly recommend that you apply a more current version. Other intrepretation is that if SI09377 was never applied/removed then ignore "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI09377". IE: In "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPERSEDED PTF SI09377" does "THIS PTF" mean SI09498 or SI09377?
