I remember asking a developer to put that in about I've not bothered to look at this in probably 15 years, but doesn't client access support some APIs like the old emulation did? Way back when, I just wrote my own PC program to access the screen buffer and replace display attributes with a visible constant, or to examine the contents of the buffer in real time. It was pretty simple stuff -- didn't take that many lines of interpreted BasicA code to do it at the time. You may well be able to do an equivalent program now. Doug
