IBM has "modernized" DB2/400 name to "DB2 UDB for iSeries".  I still like
DB2/400 and use it exclusively.
Versioning follows OS release versions so latest is "DB2 UDB for iSeries
V5R3M0".

There are many ways to find the OS release version.  
One is to do WRKLICINF and peek at the column License Term for Product
5722SS1 with Description Operating System/400.
