You should not have had a problem.  There's no (easy) telling what the
cause was, but I always check for damage B4 I do a new release, and this
generally insures that it will be OK..  We had damage loading onto the 520,
but not the 270 prior.  There are two versions of V5R3 (GA1 and GA2 [I hate
when they do that they should just admit that it wasn't ready and either
not release it, or release it as V5R3M0 and V5R3M1, but they are too
cheap.])  Be sure to determine that you are using GA2.  (They did the same
bull@#$% fir V5R2 also.
