why not just have the list server xxxxx out the email address of everyone who posts to these lists? If someone wants to send a private message the list server could provide a facility for doing that. as far as spam from as400 vendors is concerned, it does not bother me. It is not like they are selling viagra or something, so the number of unsolicited messages from as400 vendors will be rather low. -Steve
