Is there any method to delete (remove) directories with their contents by a
single command?

Yes. From QSH type in:

cd /<top level directory you want to delete>
rm -rf *

super easy. No tricks, no games. If you wanted to delete everything in /home you do:

cd /home
rm -rf *
