Michael, You need to execute the command via QCMDEXC rather than directly executing the command. The data (from the expression) winds up in the first list item, instead of being in the first 4 items in the list. I've tried to use parentheses but it still winds up in the first item. It works ok if I call the command from the command line, and the resulting command looks the same to me. Any ideas appreciated...tia... -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
