We attach using Lexmark Marknet Pro 1 and X2011e & X2031e adapters.    You 
can buy on Ebay for about $25.     Been using them for years and never had 
a problem.    Firmware downloads are available at www.lexmark.com.

I prefer to attach using print servers rather than built in ethernet 
adapters.   If the printer breaks I can just swap the printer.  Don't have 
to worry about changing the IP address or remote location name in the 
device description.
