I don't know anything about TSM.

Apparently the dsmserv program expects to be run in a terminal session for 
humans to type commands.

Looks like you need to set a couple environment variables before you call it. 
Also looks like you can get rid of the extra layer of shell script if you want 
to and just do CL.
