Bill,
OK It is documented in the repair and parts manual but essentially the
process is this:
 1) IPL to DST
 2) Work with Disk Units
 3) Work with Disk Unit recovery
 4) Reclaim IOP Cache Storage.
 5) Follow the steps there.
NOTE: If you had to IPL a CD to get to DST then after the reclaim you
must IPL to DST from A or B side and do it again.
In my experience you should have a good backup. I have had the system
go casters up after doing this but I don't think that will happen to you
since you CAN get the system running. It will tell you that some sectors
are bad and that damaged objects may result. You have to figure out what
those objects could be.
One thing I recently did that caused this problem was to have a
system powered off hard (pull the plug) but then leave it unpowered for
several weeks. Upon re-application of power the cache batteries had died
so the cache data was lost. The end result in my case was files in both
QSRvDRCTR and QMPPGDATA getting hosed. No big loss.
  Hope this helps.

After recently adding an IOA (6533) and some drives, every IPL is
generating an SRC of 65339051. IBM called me after the 3rd time the 400
called them and they said I will need to reclaim the cache using DST.
Does anyone know if this procedure is documented anywhere?
Thanks,
Bill
