The 1GB adapters do not support SNA.  They only support TCP/IP.  You can
configure *ANYNET to run SNA over TCP/IP though.  Then it is easy to route
the data across your network or the internet if your brave.

I need to set up DDM over SNA for a test I'm running and can't make
STRPASTHR connect to or run from a model 520.  I get a CPA5714 message that
the system can't call the controller because no lines are available.  One of
the reasons the 2nd level text provides is that the ethernet port may not
support any protocol except TCP/IP.
The ethernet port in this box is a 5706-001.
 
Can someone point me to documentation that tells me what protocols it
supports?
