Tony, that's a tough call
I was going to suggest http://www.bosweb.com/ but that controller
solution will still cost some bucks.
How about an inexpensive pc, circa $200 range with an thernet card, and
using CA.
If it gets wasted, you could always have a couple of spares waiting in
the wings.
The 'old' dumb terminals are becoming rarer as time goes by, with the
result that those 'dumb' terminals are starting
to command higher $.....weird eh?...
