Glad to hear you found it.

PRTDSKINF is definitely the way to find that stuff.  The DIR stuff just 
breaks down the directory information finer.  Useful, but wouldn't have 
done squat to find your trace table situation.

Found it!

The Trace Tables were at 12%, plus a few other things that PRTDSKINF 
revealed.

It's not exactly BRAND SPANKIN' new, we've been live on it for about 4 
months.

You may also want to do a RTVDIRINF/PRTDIRINF for details on IFS usage.

I'm curious why a new 520 would already be at 80% utilization.  I don't
think I've ever speced a new machine to come in above 50% even if growth
was anticipated to be minimal.
