OCL is intepreted. You could have the source type of the OCL member be ABC if you wanted - it doesn't matter. The only place where source type comes into play is when a member is edited or compiled. In editing, it determines the syntax checking. In compilation, it determines which compiler command to call. > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: Puzzle CL&OCL(36) > From: "Muralidhar Narayana" <Muralidhar_Narayana@xxxxxxxxxxx> > Date: Wed, March 02, 2005 12:02 pm > To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx > > Hi > I have seen a program (YUSDFX)in my machine. > This is basically a OCL program , no PGM and ENDPGM , but defined as CLP , > this program is listed in > YIPXLIB/QS36PRC...... > This has been running for last few years in a batch.... > > > Member Type > YUSDFX CLP > > This was done by mistake giving type as CLP. > But how AS400 is understanding this as OCL when it defined as type CLP in > YIPXLIB/QS36PRC... > This program has OCL code , No PGM and ENDPGM statements are there in CLP. > Can some one throw light? > > > > -- > This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list > To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l > or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
