To All,

 

Have any of you folks had experience with upgrading the I/O controllers on a
V5R2 830 4x from 2778's to 2780's. Are there any hidden gotch's and what
type of through put improvement could be expected. Customer wants this
analysis as a stop gap before they leap off into the i5 550. Any information
would be appreciated.
