IBM CA Emulator problem

Hello.
I'm using IBM Emulator version 5.5 in Client Access V5R2M0. My problem
is as follows: for some strange reason, I have to press Enter key twice
in order to confirm the command. 

The thing is, that if I use the IBM default keybord layout provided with
the emulator where RightControl is the [enter/ctrl] key like on the
InfoWindow keyboard, then I need to press RightCntrl only once. But when
I remap [enter/ctrl] to the Enter key then, all of the sudden, I need to
press Enter twice to perform the same operation. Is there any way around
it?

I've tried changing regional settings - but that did not help.
