Hi--
You are trying to get an html to pull-up on your windows when you click
a link on the green screen right? If so, have you tried the RUNRMTCMD?
This is the only thing that can work from any emulator. You would have
to start the server on the client end to communicate. Once done, you
can start the browser. There are java codes to recognize your local
default browser.

I know all this by theory since we use CA ourselves so I have used
STRPCO for this and send the url from my hyper link.

Please let me know if you got this to work.
Thanks,
Sudha

Subject: HyperLink on Green Screen

Our shop uses WinAPPC as the 5250 emulator. I play around with it and
doesn't seem like it be can setup to allow hot-Spot hyperlink. I know
CA can do this. However, it would be quite a task to migrate our
emulator software to CA. Does anyone know of anyway to go around the
problem.
