I believe the official and complete response to the question was that the 
official name of an i5 system would be "IBM eServer iSeries i5".  However 
to simplify the name the platform should be called iSeries.  The i5 is 
only one of the subsets of the iSeries platform.

Hopefully that clears things up.....
