If you use SNA (native or over Anynet), you will need to change other setting 
if you change the system name.
- WRKDIRE
- Distribution queue
- Remote outq 
- ...

Also, to change the name of a system (CHGNETA), you will need to perform an IPL

To change the system names(not DNS names) for the new AS400 , any precautions 
to be taken?
 
To view the current system names , the command used is DSPNETA right?
