Windows update on IXS card

To those with IXS cards:

Am I right that we should _not_ do Windows update(s) on IXS cards from
within Windows as we would do on 'normal' Windows PCs?  And the way to get
Windows updates to IXS cards is through IBM issued PTFs for 5722WSV?
