I am working with a generic file for holding FTP scripts in various members. A
generic program is then used to override to the correct member and perform the
FTP commands in the script.

I need to add a new script (member) to this file and use the generic processing
program. My problem is that my FTP commands are longer than 80 characters
(directory path and LONG file names). Is it possible to signal that this
command continues to the next record in the script file?

I know that creating a file with a longer record is a way to do this, but is
not really the preferred option. Also, in the archives I found where people
said they did it...and also in other research that it is not supported. What I
am looking for that if it is indeed possible...the exact syntax of the 2 lines
that make up the command.

Thanks for your help.
