I love using the scroll wheel to page up/down in Mochasoft. It makes
zooming through a huge WRKACTJOB (or other) list a breeze.

Subject: Re: Green-screen versus browser

And just exactly who says you can't have mouse support in the
terminal-host paradigm?

3487, 3488, and 3489 terminals, as well as the old Twinax Yestations
from Affirmative, ALL have mouse support.
Minimal types of mouse support, like turning CUA-compliant function-key
legends into clickable mouse buttons (i.e., "Simple Hotspots") is built
in, as is cursor-positioning, copy-and-paste (both linear and
rectangular), split-screen session-switching and divider-moving, and so
forth. And most good emulators have all those features as well (and in
one of the few areas where an emulator can outperform a terminal, most
of them actually improve on the built-in mouse support). And it's not at
all difficult to adjust a 5250 application so that it makes the most of
the built-in mouse support.
