If an iSeries 595 was running at 1.9 GHz and the OS was AIX5L 5.3 as
indicated in the benchmark, the results would be the same.  According to
the prophecy, anyway!

TPC-C and -W are meant to be workload measurements, not cycle speed
measurements. Tell IBM to run the tests on an iSeries and you'd see how
it compares. 

I would guess that they've not don't that because they believe that
people who buy iSeries's don't care about TPC benchmarks. At least I
hope that's why. The other option is they don't like the results.
