I'm mystified by something. Our AS/400 does not allow mail relaying, yet when I post to this news group through gmane the post goes through successfully. If I try to send e-mail to a domain other than my own, the server correctly tells me that relaying is not allowed. What's different about the news group? (I'm doing this from home.)
