Hi
If you use exclusive lock on the file then it no other job would be able to
allocate the file object until the lock is released by DLCOBJ. Other jobs may
end abnormally after the WAIT time.
If you think that the work file holds data specific to a job, create a
duplicate object in QTEMP at runtime which can be used exclusively by the job,
wherein there is no need to allocate the object.

Rgds,
Sachin

Subject: ALCOBJ

Hi
Two jobs which run at same time use same work file , ine one job I plan to use
in the beginning
ALCOBJ(workfile)
.........
.....
at the end DLCOBJ.....

By doing this, does this cause any problem to second job ?

If multiple jobs which needs this file run at same time, how they would be
affected after implementing above in one job?
Thanks,
