I'm not sure...  but isn't nice to have belt -and- suspenders?

What I object to is companies that run their address lists through 
automated 'correction routines' to validate zip vs address.

I was assigned a new PO box number by the post office.  Now whenever 
"they" validate my address, they assume that the box is correct and 
the city/state/zip is not.  They 'correct' the city/state/zip, which 
routes the mail to the neighboring town.  Fortunately, the PO is 
friendly, and forwards it to me anyway.

I realize that the PO wants to make things as efficient and error 
free as possible, and encourage companies to 'normalize' their 
address lists, but 'assuming' which part of the address is correct is 
incorrect!
