I was told it is not possible to create a Client Access 5250 printer
session connected through a VPN for a printer that supports *IPDS data
streams? Can anyone confirm or deny that?

We currently have an *IPDS capable printer (it has an IPDS card) that is
connected via a 5250 printer session. In order for the printer to
connect the remote user must first VPN into our network and then start
up the printer session. I noticed that *AFPDS print on it ok, but when
the spool file being sent to it is *IPDS we get errors stating the
attributes are not supported for the device.

Thanks.
Griz
