I did admit before that I was below par when I posted the above, but I 
really did look for a reference to HTML something related. and did not 
find it within QsnQry5250.

After a further look, the only reference I can find is

Invisible tags. Defines more device capabilities of the designated 
device as:

   * Bits 0-5: Reserved
   * Bit 6: EBCDIC-to-ASCII translation. This is used by workstation
     gateway devices.
   * Bit 7: True transparency.

I guess that bit 6 must be what you mean but it is a bit obscure.  I did 
see it before but felt that I should be looking for something more explicit.

Please can you confirm whether this is what you meant?
