Exactly what is the problem?

"reduced print mode" sounds as if the OP is sending spool files that only use 
80 columns but are defined as 132 column to a 8.5x11 laser.  In which case the 
iSeries will reduce and rotate the output, which it thinks is 132 columns wide, 
so it will print on the smaller size paper.

If the OP is only using 80 columns, make sure the printer file is defined as 80 
columns.

That is the best way to "fix" the problem.

Other option is to turn off Computer Output Reduction.  Change PAGRTT on the 
printer file from *AUTO or *COR to 0.
