You may want to check on the BPCS mailing list, but the quick answer is that my company is and it's not a problem. The last couple of OS releases have had special PTFs for BPCS 6.X onwards because those versions use imbedded SQL statements. Version 405 is "dumb" enough (read native enough) that IBM would have to break OPNQRYF or RPG in a big way to cause a problem. All the usual disclaimers on reading the installation instructions, notes to users, etc. still apply. > message: 1 > date: Mon, 6 Jun 2005 14:15:43 -0400 > from: "Wilt, Charles" <CWilt@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > subject: BPCS 405CD and v5r3 > > Anyone out there still using BPCS 405CD with v5r3 of OS/400? > > We're planning on upgrading next month and I seem to be having > trouble getting into SSA support. > > Thanks,
