Colin,

I agree that is nicer than nesting CONCATs but after seeing some issues 
with language incompatibilites converting the | to some other character 
I'd really be hesitant to use it.  Who knows, even something as mundane as 
moving the storage from source files to IFS could play heck with that 
character.
