Jim, I think it's fair to say that 90% of the AS/400's out there do not use their system consoles for day-to-day work. Remembering that when we did it poorly affected performance for the rest of the users. Granted, a little shop like yours may be different. But for 90% of the shops out there, "what one would 'NEED' to bring up a console for" differs. Rob Berendt
