Trigger would be prefect. Don't really need to do in SQL. Just add trigger to 
file with *BEFORE image and write a simple trigger program to compare the 
before and after version of the record. If field has changed, write your record 
or data queue(The best). 

If you have copy of my trigger mediator, you would only need to add the logic 
to check the field in a cloned copy of TS0001 trigger service program.
