Using Visual Explain in Iseries Navigator ?

When I run a query in Iseries Navigator and clicked on Visual Explain (Run
and Explain), after a while, it says, "index exist but could not be used"

Any idea, why index could not be used.

My tables are created with "Create Table " Sql command, and index is created
with "Create Index " Sql command.

When I checked my table properties in Iseries Navigator, the relevant index
name appearing in Indexes Tab.
