We have 14 LPARS on a single system and use Mimix for replication
The backups are done from target system directly to TSM network. When
the backups are done the Apply sessions on target are shutdown

We use BRMS for Backups to the TSM server and do Incremental save
everyday except on last day of month when all user libs are saved

Never had issues with Mimix nor BRMS or TSM

The datagroups on LPARS vaary from 10 Datagroups to approx 150 on one
of the systems
