Along that same vein, has anyone experienced anything like this? I've been able to use the standard cpytoimpf command to generate a csv file to ftp to a Win2000 server. I did not have to change the end of record parameter. SQL Server imported the file with no problems. Using the same format, and sending a file to a Win2003 server, SQL server can not figure out where the end of the record sits. I had to change the file so that the end of record character is a '|' (pipe). The Win2003 version of SQL server has been told that the pipe is the end of record character, and th file imports correctly. Any ideas?
