These are just the logs for your time sync service. You'll also see messages in QSYSOPR daily which read: SNTP Activity Log is active. File /QIBM/USERDATA/OS400/TCPIP/NTP/QTOT20050707 is used by the Activity Log. If you actually want no logging of any kind of your NTP activity, end it by doing a CHGNTPA ACTLOG(*NONE) SVRACTLOG(*NONE) and then remove the log files in the directory. You will most likely have to cycle the NTP jobs to make it take effect. Justin C.
