RE: 820 to 520 Upgrade

Joe,

Why can't you upgrade the 270?  It will support v5r3.

I understand wanting to keep a back level system.  Here's how I'd do it:

save 270 @ v5r2
upgrade 270 to v5r3
save 270 at v5r3
migrate 270 @ v5r3 to 520 @ v5r3
scratch 270 
restore 270 from v5r2 save
