Even a small or midsize 570 environment might prefer this.  When you're
spending six figures on a box, a couple grand more shouldn't be that big
of a deal.

Here's what we're doing:

Production data center has an HMC and a 570.
The DR datacenter will also have an HMC and a 570.
Both HMCs will be configured to manage both systems.

Thus, either HMC can manage either system at any time.  Maintaining code
levels may prove to be a pain; I'm not sure.  But I think it'd be worth
it.

Now, if only IBM would enable the i5 to back up the HMC...
