Sure, just don't use the WRKOBJLCK command. Use the List Object Locks api: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/ic2924/info/apis/qwclobjl.htm Some might come up with the trick of WRKOBJLCK OUTPUT(*PRINT). And they CPYSPLF to a disk file. However, IBM likes to change the format of the printout every release or so (just to pi$$ you off). So I'd stick with the api's instead. Rob Berendt
