We are currently doing a lot of work to migrate our Twinax printers to Ethernet. I have several Decision Data 6704's that are really Printronix under the hood. Our programs are addressing these in their proprietary Code V language to print labels. I am sending the same spool files that work fine on the 6704 to an IBM 6400 with the Code V emulation option, and the graphics start mode character changed to what I believe we are using, which is 5F. To get this value, I copied the spool file to a database file and did a display Hex in PDM. The printer is set up as a remote writer with an IP address. It is printing, but the print codes are just printing as text, it is evidently ignoring the codes entirely. Host Print Transform is *YES in the remote writer definition, and I have tried various models. I know this is a pretty special case, and therefore a long shot, but anyone ever tried this that can suggest something? Thanks, Jim Reinardy Badger Meter, Inc. Milwaukee, WI
