Elvis,

We're not experiencing any 'abnormal' system failures - once in awhile we
get a power failure but the UPS usually takes care of it.

But we do use every index and LF that is built over the physical for
something.

We refresh our test system with production data once a month - and to
speed things up we use chglf to change access path maint to *DLY and after
cpyf (into test libraries) we change it back to *IMMED. The only time I
see QDBSRV* being busy is after we do the cpyf and then chglf to set the
access path maint back to *IMMED. After all the indexes get rebuilt things
run very well

Thanks for the input.

Regards, Jerry
