Thanks very much for the info about BI implementations.  

I'm not surprised about IBM and the pSeries vs the iSeries as I'm sure
they see which way the customer "wind" is blowing and it is not blowing
iSeries over the long haul unless the iSeries customer/programmer
community changes drastically and quickly.   

My design for my DW/DM/ODS will be such that, if push comes to shove on
the iSeries, it can be implemented in one of my other LPARs which will
have AIX or Linux or one each or can be migrated easily to a pSeries.
