Yes, move to Query Manager, really called DB2 Query Manager as it
provides more features and functions than Query/400.   This if you wish
to stay with the IBM "green screen" tools. 

I have used both plus many more query tools and of the two above, QM is
much more robust both interactive and batch.  That's what I primarily
use in the "green screen" environment.

As you may know, there are many, many GUI query tools both from IBM and
other vendors that provide an order of magnitude of features/functions
over the "green screen" tools.
