Traditionally IBM (in the states anyway) does NOT use telnet. They will have you run the command STRRMTSPT. And, normally they do not use QSECOFR, but they may request all of the special authority that QSECOFR has. I have a user profile called ..... with all of the special authority that QSECOFR has. Believe me, I've had them connect into my system more times than I can remember. Rob Berendt
