The 9405-520's are the Express models ranging from about $11k-$48k and come in models with 500/30 CPW, 1000/60 CPW, and 2400/60 CPW. The Express models (except the base one) come with Websphere Development Studio, Websphere Application Server Express, Query, DB2 Tools, and Client Access software as well. The Express models are supposed to be "complete solutions" as they come with non-trivial ammounts of DASD (especially the RAID5 models), main memory, and other options preinstalled. The 9406-520's are the "normal" models ranging from 500 CPW to 6,600 CPW and available in Value, Standard, and Enterprise editions. The processor features in the 9406's are 1.5GHz 1-way, 1.65GHz 1-way/2-way.Can somebody tell me the difference between a 9405-520 and a 9406-520? When I go to IBM iSeriesFACT, it lists all the 520 models, but doesn't tell me whether it's a 9405 or a 9406 or whatever. http://www-919.ibm.com/factserv/factFind I can find precious few references to the 9405-520 and 9406-520, and when I do there's nothing telling me which is which. Anybody have any idea? Joe
