Yep, I'm in PartnerWorld, too, and currently contemplating pretty much the same thing you are. I whipped up a spreadsheet and from my calculations assuming the value comes with nothing not explicitly listed (i.e. you need to add dvd, tape, twinax, and eth in addition to matching DASD and main memory) it comes out to $14.5k list for Express 500/30 with software config and $18.776k for the Value 500/30. Lease-wise it's then $217.50/mo. for the Express and $187.76/mo for the Value. Keep in mind this is fairly back of the envelope, though.
